THIEM ENERGY

A simple, scalable, and future-proof electricity model that combines sustainability, economic efficiency, and operational simplicity.

THIEM ENERGY: The next development stage.

The energy community was originally established as a cooperative model with the aim of sharing locally generated, sustainable electricity within a community.

This approach was designed to reduce energy costs while actively contributing to the energy transition and has proven successful in practice.

During ongoing operation it became clear that companies and larger organizations in particular require a comprehensive electricity solution.

Pure energy community models reach limits here, as residual electricity still needs to be sourced from conventional suppliers.

In response, the model was consistently further developed. The result is a hybrid tariff that combines the advantages of the energy community with an integrated residual electricity tariff.

The residual tariff is provided as a white-label solution via Max Energy, while all communication, customer relationship, and tariff design are handled by us.

Customers receive one unified tariff, one point of contact, and one consolidated bill.

The hybrid tariff represents the next stage of the original model - a clear enhancement and professionalization, driven by strong demand and positive market feedback.

The central focus is now on the continued expansion of this model:

  • Attracting as many members as possible
  • Enabling tangible electricity cost savings for households and businesses
  • Maximizing the share of sustainably generated electricity within the community

All participants integrate their full electricity consumption into the system. As much energy as possible is covered by the community, while remaining demand is supplied via the integrated residual tariff.

This model simplifies access to sustainable electricity, lowers costs, reduces complexity, and enables efficient use of renewable energy within the community.

Each participation also makes a measurable contribution to environmental and climate protection through local consumption of sustainably generated electricity.
